OKLAHOMA HORSE FAIR @ Stephens County Fair & Expo Center

The annual Oklahoma Horse Fair in Duncan is a two-day horse event that includes a trail horse and ranch horse competition followed by a working cow dog competition. Over 200 ranch and performance horses, including a variety of ponies, will be offered for sale at auction. Over 50 vendors will be selling Western tack and decor, handmade bits, spurs, jewelry, art and crafts, Western wear, hats and livestock feed. STATE FIDDLERS WINTER CONVENTION @ Sequoyah Lodge

Visitors to the State Fiddlers Winter Festival will enjoy live music performed by professional fiddle players along with daily and evening dances. Formerly known as the Western Hills Fiddlers Festival, some of Oklahoma’s best fiddle players will be on-hand at this annual event. Come for a weekend filled with fiddling, dancing and musical workshops. Jam sessions will be held throughout the event in the hotel lobby. Come and celebrate American folk music, bluegrass and Western swing and stick around for all that Sequoyah State Park has to offer. BATTLE OF ROUND MOUNTAIN RE-ENACTMENT @ Hwy 51 & Hwy 18
Feb 16 – Feb 18 all-day

The Battle of Round Mountain Re-enactment recreates a winter encampment of the Civil War era. This event takes place over three days, with living history soldiers setting up opposing camps on Friday. Vendors in period dress will also be present to set up tents and sell their wares. The battle itself begins Saturday afternoon, as visitors are invited to witness as Confederate and Union soldiers slowly advance towards each other on the field of battle. View the soldiers as they prepare to fire cannons, and watch the battle as smoke from guns and cannons fills the air. History is brought to life at the Battle of Round Mountain. In addition, this re-enactment event showcases a Civil War era ball on Saturday at 7pm. Costumed attendees will swirl around the dance floor as traditional fiddle music is performed on stage. MIDSOUTH TACKLE, HUNTING & BOAT SHOW @ Grove Civic Center

Come to Grove in northeastern Oklahoma for the Midsouth Tackle & Hunting Show. This event will feature hundreds of vendors presenting the latest merchandise and technologies in outdoor sports with special hunting and fishing demonstrations by pro fishermen and hunters. This expo will also include a kids’ fishing pond, the Fetch-N-Fish dog show, bowfishing, archery and more.
