Oklahoma Festival of Ballooning

4200 Border Ave., Muskogee, OK 74401. Hot air balloons will fill the sky over Muskogee’s Hatbox Field this August during the Oklahoma Festival of Ballooning. This magical two day event will feature tethered balloon rides, balloon glows after dark and hot air balloon rides as contestants compete for the Oklahoma Hot Air Balloon Championship Governor’s Trophy. Don’t miss this first ever event, which is presented by Muskogee Parks & Recreation Department with hot air balloon event management provided by Kansas City AeroSports. Additional support is being provided by The City of Muskogee, Muskogee Tourism and The Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce.
Please note: Hot air balloon activities will be dependent on weather conditions deemed safe for pilots, their crews, passengers and spectators following Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Learn more by calling 918-684-6302.

Stop by Wine’n on the Chisholm Trail to taste a wide variety of Oklahoma wines and enjoy live music. A wineglass will be included with admission, and wine by the glass, bottle or whole case will be available for purchase. Friday night includes an Italian style dinner with entertainment under the Oklahoma stars on Main Street by candlelight. Saturday includes wine tastings, vendors, goody bags, door prizes, entertainment and more. Visitors must be 21 and older to enter tasting area.
